Philippe Dehaes is the new coach of Daria Kasatkina

After 3 years of cooperation with the Slovak coach Vladimir Platenik, Dasha’s team underwent some changes and she got a new coach – Philippe Dehaes from Belgium. 

The Belgian has been previously working with his fellow countrymen Kristof Vliegen, Steve Darcis, Xavier Malisse and Oliver Rochus. The two latter became the winners of Rolland Garros in doubles under the guidance of Dehaes in 2004. Philippe has also worked at Justine Henin academy and has been a coach of the Ukrainian player Maryna Zanevska who changed her citizenship and became a Belgian a year ago. 

Philippe Dehaes will join Dasha’s team in the middle of October and their first common tournament will be Kremlin Cup which begins on October 16 in Moscow.
