Dasha ends her US Open run in the fourth round

Daria Kasatkina lost to the Estonian Kaia Kanepi in their fourth round match at US Open: 4-6 4-6.

Dasha made two breaks in each set but her opponent played better on Dasha’s serve and had three. Dasha served one ace, made four double faults, scored eleven winners and made twenty-two unforced errors. It was the first time Dasha managed to reach the fourth round at a Grand Slam tournament. Moreover, she also played the doubles with Daria Gavrilova from Australia and the girls stopped in the third round.

Now Dasha heads to Japan where she will play at Toray Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo. The tournament starts on September 18.
