A tough third-round match against the Spaniard Garbine Muguruza had lasted for two hours and thirty minutes and resulted in Dasha’s victory: 6-2 4-6 6-3.
Having won the first set without any problems, Dasha had a 4-2 lead in the second but the Spaniard managed to pull herself together and won four games in a row. Dasha won a break-point at the beginning of the decisive set and got a 4-1 lead. The following sixth game appeared to be a real drama as it had lasted for 20 minutes and Muguruza managed to save eight break-points.
