Daria Kasatkina, 19, has renewed her contract with Tecnifibre, building on their current 5-year partnership. The Russian born Daria Kasatkina and member of EMPIRE Tennis Academy in Trnava, is currently ranked 24th in the WTA world rankings.
Daria Kasatkina, who is coached by Vladimir Platenik, is known for her talent on court with her variation of shots and pace-making ability and has been with Tecnifibre since she was 14 years-old. She has experienced a meteoric rise in the world rankings in 2016 and has shown no signs of slowing down.
"Daria continues to improve, winning the French Open juniors in 2014 and quickly making the step up smoothly up onto the professional circuit. Dasha is knocking on the door of the world’s top 20 after a rapid progression up the rankings. For us, it was a no-brainer to continue our partnership in order to help her win her first Grand Slam title.
